Bath Digital Festival to return for 2025
Bath Digital Festival will return in 2025, with the dates for your digital calendar of May 13 to 15.
The festival promises once again to turn the city into ‘a vibrant hub of innovation, creativity, and cutting-edge technology,’ with ‘a diverse programme of interactive workshops, dynamic panels, and thought-provoking discussions.’
Attendees will have the chance to engage directly with the latest technologies and connect with the visionaries driving the future.
Organised by TechSpark, the festival will be built around three transformative themes:
Space: Beyond the Horizon
Highlighting the South West’s role as the UK’s third-largest aerospace cluster, this theme explores both the literal and figurative boundaries of space. Delve into immersive digital environments, rethink physical and workplace spaces, and consider the human drive to explore and create.
Sustain: Enabling the Future
From sustainable business models to mindful personal growth, this theme redefines what sustainability means for people, the planet, and communities. It’s a call to action for ideas that go the distance—whether in design, education, or urban development.
Being: The Human and Beyond
With a focus on health, life sciences, and the intersection of technology with the human experience, this theme tackles neurodiversity, mental health, and advancements like IoT, robotics, and quantum computing. It’s about enhancing what it means to be human.
“We’re thrilled to bring Bath Digital Festival back for 2025,” said festival curator Lucy Paine. “This year, our mission is to amplify the creativity and ingenuity of the entire South West region.
“The festival is a platform for everyone—from tech enthusiasts to professionals—showcasing the incredible talent and innovation we have right here.”
Professor Andy Salmon, pro-vice chancellor of one of the festival sponsors, Bath Spa University, described last year’s festival as, “the place where we can vision, debate, and meaningfully enact the ever-evolving relationship between technologies and values.”
