PKF Francis Clark appoints chief information officer
Chartered accountant PKF Francis Clark has appointed technology and customer experience specialist Subhash Sreedharan to the newly created role of chief information officer.
Subhash – who will be based at the firm’s Salisbury office – has worked across many industries in the UK and multinational companies, championing customer experiences and business transformation using technology. He joins from McCarthy Stone, where he was director of technology.
“Having experienced PKF Francis Clark’s services as a client, I was attracted by the firm’s rapid growth and its recent accreditation as a Great Place to Work,” said Subhash.
“I’m excited by the challenge of bridging the gap between business and technology, empowering people to do their jobs and freeing up valuable time to deliver added value to our clients.
“The firm has invested in building a strong IT team over many years and there are great opportunities for us to really make a difference and drive change as we embrace new technologies to improve our clients’ experiences and the wellbeing of our people.”
Working for both IT suppliers and retail brands, Subhash has delivered large, complex customer relationship management and finance system implementations, and data insights and reporting projects, to help drive customer satisfaction and empower businesses to make informed decisions.
“It’s an exciting time to be joining PKF Francis Clark, not least because digitalisation is transforming the accountancy profession,” he added. “We’re driven by our clients’ experiences, so we have to do everything we can to improve those experiences in order to differentiate ourselves, and technology has a big role to play in that.”
Subhash (pictured left) is also a passionate advocate for equality, diversity and inclusion. He said: “I aim to support people to grow in their careers, in the same way I’ve been privileged to have some good leaders who helped me get to where I am.
“I’m passionate about opening doors and creating opportunities for people, so I’m looking forward to supporting PKF Francis Clark’s equality, diversity and inclusion agenda.”
Managing partner Andrew Richards (right) said: “Subhash brings a wealth of commercial technology and digital experience. We’re delighted he has joined us to help lead our ongoing transformation as we harness the power of technology to deliver outstanding service to our clients.
“He joins us at an exciting time with the challenge of the digitalisation of the firm and our clients. His insights on equality, diversity and inclusion will also be valuable in ensuring PKF Francis Clark is a great place to work.”
