House-builder appoints new divisional director
A builder who worked on developments at Canary Wharf, on London’s Westfield shopping centre, and on The Docklands Light Railway will be taking charge of house-building in and around Wiltshire.
Swindon-based house-builder Hills Homes Developments has appointed Kelly Mann as divisional director – construction.
Congratulating Kelly on his appointment, Nick King, group director said: “Kelly will be responsible for the overall management of construction activities including the commercial and technical teams covering projects from early stages through to customer care.”
Kelly is a chartered member of the Chartered Institute of Building and has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry working on many large scale commercial and residential development projects.
These include Canary Wharf, Westfield shopping centre, The Docklands Light Railway in London, and the consortium new town project of Sherford near Plymouth which was a five year project building 5,500 new homes plus shops, schools and amenities.
Having joined Hills Homes in 2019 as construction manager, Kelly has been responsible for the delivery of housing developments in Blunsdon, Calne, Corston and Hilperton in Wiltshire and Tetbury in Gloucestershire.
Kelly said: “I am delighted to be promoted to divisional director and honoured by the faith the board have entrusted in me.
“Since starting two years ago we have faced the Covid-19 pandemic and other challenging issues but we have pushed on, secured jobs and continue to grow as a company and a team.”
Kelly continued: “I am very excited for the future of Hills Homes. I am proud of everyone in my team and we will continue striving towards delivering more sites building both private and affordable quality homes across Wiltshire, Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire.”
