Meat firm seeks to hire 25 new workers at Corsham plant

Higher welfare pork and lamb processor Dalehead Foods will be taking on 25 new skilled and unskilled workers at its Corsham plant this month.

The site at the Leafield Industrial Estate produces sliced cooked meats and slow-cooked products for customers including Waitrose.

It currently employs more than 300 staff and is now increasing the size of its production team to support its ongoing expansion.

The vacancies include several skilled and unskilled roles in its manufacturing, packing and hygiene departments with successful applicants being offered a full programme of training to help advance their careers.

Dalehead Foods is part of Pilgrim’s UK, a fully integrated higher welfare farming and food business that manages the food production process from farm to fork.

Dalehead has been in Corsham for more than 30 years and the site has become known for its technical advancements – combining traditional skills and the latest technology.
